Beyond Organic Skincare Launches in Japan.
Beyond Organic, has negotiated and tested its way into the Japanese market in record time.
Japanese cosmetic regulations are much stricter in some ways, than European ones; the cosmetic industry is monitored by the Government.
Although they take into account the organic certification a product may already have, they insist on a minimum amount of additives. The pureness of Beyond Organic ingredients made them ideal for Japanese customers.
The rigorous regulation of the country’s cosmetic market is admirable. Japan has adopted a list of prohibited ingredients, a list of restricted ingredients, a positive list of UV filters and a positive list of preservatives.
Beyond Organic completed substantial paperwork and lengthy testing to be accepted, but it has been extremely worthwhile.
The Japanese organic market is in it’s ‘infancy’ compared to the UK and they are aware that it has huge growth potential. They told us that they had tried lots of organic products and ours was the first that ‘really delivered’
They also loved our ethics and green, ecological principles.
The majority of the range of Beyond Organic products, including facial and body care, and a therapeutic range, will be and distributed by LuvP Planet in Tokyo, and are being launched at a PR event at the YU, THE SPA at Four Seasons, at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Chinzan-so, during the second week in February.
